Getting Involved – As a Volunteer
Volunteering can be life changing and we welcome on-site volunteers. Many of our past volunteers admit to transformative experiences, having built lifelong bonds with the children, the teachers, and the school. The children benefit from the perspectives and skills that volunteers bring.

Additionally, experienced teachers willing to commit regular time, are welcome to teach our students online.
As a Summer
School Participant
If you are a high school or college student or a recent graduate keen to learn about the ways of life, the challenges and realities in India’s villages, here is your chance. Teaching and interacting with children at our remote Himalayan school for two weeks can be highly rewarding.
It promises to make you more confident, and self-aware and will surely help you stand out from the crowd, irrespective of what you choose to do next
As an
Online Teacher
Since Aug 2022, Happy By Nature School has adopted a hybrid model of education with a balanced mix of online and offline classes. Online classes open up a whole new world to our children.
We welcome experienced and passionate teachers, willing to commit ~120 periods per academic year to teach in Cl 5 – 8
As a Teaching Consultant
(with a stipend)
Young graduates or teachers interested in acquiring grassroots level teaching experience at a remote Himalayan school are welcome to take up the role of on-site teaching consultants.
You will be responsible for teaching, lesson planning, communication with students and staff, education support and curriculum development. We will evaluate you based on your interest in primary/middle education.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the lives of children, participate in school activities and be mentored by senior pedagogy experts. A modest stipend shall be offered.
